• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their data, workflows, and goals—then architect and deploy tailored solutions using Riley’s CDOS and intelligence engine.
• Build end-to-end: from integrating new data sources (Snowflake, Postgres, product analytics, call transcripts, etc.) to designing prompts, APIs, and UI flows that make insights instantly usable.
• Own real customer problems, not tickets. You’ll prototype fast, ship to production, gather feedback, and iterate alongside product, data science, and design.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into technical solutions: “Why are we losing revenue in X region?” → “Here’s the data source, the pipeline, the model, and the insight.”
• Influence the product roadmap by spotting patterns across customers: what to automate, what to productize, and what doesn’t scale yet (but needs to).

• You have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions/forward-deployed engineer, or sales engineer working close to customers and real-world problems.
• You love building in the real world—where code meets messy data, customer pain, and business impact.
• You’re full-stack (or dangerously close): comfortable working with APIs, databases, and frontend components, and not afraid to debug a broken CSV or weird data model when needed.
• You think in first principles, ship before it’s perfect, and care more about solving the problem than protecting a job description.
• You get energy from being in the room with customers—not hiding behind a backlog or waiting for specs.
• You thrive in early-stage chaos: ambiguous requirements, rapid learning loops, and the opportunity to shape both the product and the company.
